Epson XP-204 Specifications
Epson XP-204 represents an inkjet Expression Home all-in-one device designed for home printing, scanning and copying. Epson applies the Micro Piezo printhead technology that provides for positioning small ink droplets on the paper precisely for text and images. The four separate cartridges are included in the ink system; these are the cartridges with the colors black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Being separated by color, users can just replace the empty cartridge when maintaining the printer. It means that the printer will be able to print text documents, children’s homework, photos, scans and copies.
Maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi ensures high-quality results for text and images. The manufacturer presents a draft speed of up to 30 ppm in black and 15 ppm in color on plain paper. The sheet feeder with the top loading is capable of holding 100 sheets of 75 gsm plain paper. There are A4, Letter, Legal, A5, A6, B5, envelopes and some photo paper sizes. That means that the printer can handle ordinary family text documents, receipts, forms, travel papers and even family photos.
The XP-204 printer supports Hi-Speed USB and Wi-Fi connection through the 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n networks at home office. Infrastructure and ad hoc modes are available for wireless setup, whereas WEP, WPA and WPA2 Personal provide the wireless connection with security. Stored dimensions of the device are 390 mm width, 300 mm depth and 145 mm height. When trays are expanded for printing the depth becomes 528 mm, while the height equals 279 mm. Weighing about 4.1 kg without ink cartridges, the printer takes little space on the family desk.
