Epson WorkForce WF-7840DTWF Specifications

The Epson WorkForce WF-7840DTWF is an A3+ multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Printing relies on a PrecisionCore print head with 800 black nozzles and 256 nozzles for each colour. DURABrite Ultra pigment cartridges supply black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink. Local operation runs through a 10.9 cm front colour touchscreen. The automatic document feeder takes up to 50 A3 originals.

Maximum print resolution is 4,800 x 2,400 dpi. Variable-sized droplet technology places ink down to 3.8 pl. ISO print speed is 25 ppm in monochrome and 12 ppm in colour. For A4 duplex pages, speed falls to 16 ppm in black and 9 ppm in colour. Scanning uses a CIS sensor at 1,200 x 2,400 dpi, and the ADF can scan both sides of an original sheet.

Paper input comes from two front trays and a rear path for specialty media. Plain-paper capacity reaches 550 sheets, and the output tray holds 125 sheets. The ADF also takes 50 pages. Larger formats include A3+, A3, B4, Legal, Letter, and user-defined media. Smaller sheet sizes include A4, A5, A6, and B5. The feed also accepts envelopes and photo paper in 9 x 13 cm, 10 x 15 cm, 13 x 18 cm, and 16:9 sizes.

Automatic duplex printing works on A4 and A3 plain paper, and borderless printing is listed. Wired connections use Hi-Speed USB, Ethernet, and a USB host interface. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. Epson mobile and cloud services cover iPrint, Email Print, Remote Print Driver, and Scan-to-Cloud.
