Epson L1270 Specifications

The Epson L1270 is an A4 EcoTank ink-tank printer for printing only, with no scanner, copier, fax, or automatic document feeder hardware. Printing comes from an Epson Micro Piezo print head with 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles for each colour. Its four-colour dye ink system uses black, cyan, magenta, and yellow 103 EcoTank bottles. The body has no built-in display panel.

Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi, while variable-sized droplet technology places ink down to 3 pl. ISO speed runs at 10 pages per minute in monochrome and 5 pages per minute in colour. Draft output on 75 g/m² plain paper reaches 33 pages per minute in black and 15 pages per minute in colour. A 10 x 15 cm photo takes about 27 seconds.

Paper input comes through one rear tray with a 100-sheet standard capacity. Printed pages collect in an output tray rated for 30 sheets. Paper sizes include A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, 9 x 13 cm, 10 x 15 cm, 13 x 18 cm, 13 x 20 cm, and 20 x 25 cm. The rear feed also accepts C6, DL, and Number 10 envelopes. Borderless printing works up to 10 x 15 cm, and duplex printing is manual.

USB handles the wired connection, while Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct cover wireless printing. Epson Connect covers iPrint, Email Print, and Remote Print Driver, with network printing over TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6. Ethernet and PictBridge are not listed for this device. Power use is 12 watts during printing, 3 watts ready, 0.7 watt asleep, and 0.2 watt off. The closed body measures 375 x 347 x 169 mm and weighs 2.9 kg.
