Epson Artisan 800 Specifications
The Epson Artisan 800 is a sleek-designed, feature-packed device ideal for home office workers and photo enthusiasts into the bargain (“those into photography,” perhaps?). It features a convenient 7.8-inch on-board color touchscreen with a touch-sensitive display on the front of the device for easy navigation, and it is very user-friendly. The job is where the Artisan 800 truly earns the money it costs because it makes beautiful prints that are as good as those from dedicated photo printers.
In terms of performance, then the Epson Artisan 800 is speedy enough, at least within its class and price range. Text print time is impressive, delivering documents with speed to meet the needs of most households. However, from the standpoint of cost, the Artisan 800’s high cost of ink is essential to consider. Although it offers top-notch output quality, its ink costs are relatively high. It will deter frequent users from printing often to keep down immediate expenses. Moreover, the printer is a little noisier than some competitors, which might be an obstacle for users wanting to work quietly alone in their den.
In summary, it can serve as a general-purpose printer for the family while offering a lot to photography enthusiasts and those who work out of the house. It’s alright with speed and user interface but falls short in cost to run plus decibels. So long as you accept the premium cost, the Artisan 800 is an okay printer.
