Epson XP-231 Specifications
The Epson XP-231 is designed to include printing, copying, and scanning tasks in one compact desktop form. It uses four-colored Epson MicroPiezo inkjet technology, which guarantees reliable printing of everyday documents and photos. The printer has a resolution of 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi. ISO print speeds are equal to 6.2 ppm (black), 3.1 ppm (color). The maximum printing speed is 26 ppm in black and 13 – 15 ppm in color documents.
The printer can work with such standard paper sizes as A4, Letter, Legal, Envelopes, and various photo formats. The printer has a standard input tray where up to 50 sheets (up to 10 photo sheets) can be placed. The possibility of manual duplex printing allows saving paper when it is necessary to print two-sided documents from time to time. The printer has DURABrite Ultra pigment ink that provides water-, fade-, and smudge-resistant prints. The printer has four separate ink cartridges, which means that the user should only buy new ink when it is depleted.
Epson XP-231 can be connected through USB and Wi-Fi connections. There are some additional printing options through Epson Connect (iPrint, Email Print, Remote Print Driver). The printer is compatible with Windows XP to Windows 10 and macOS 10.6.x and higher. The compact size of the printer is 390 x 300 x 145 mm. The weight of the printer is only 3.9 kg; it consumes 12 watts in copy mode.
