Epson WorkForce Pro WF-R8591 Specifications

The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-R8591 is an A3+ colour all-in-one inkjet with print, scan, copy, and fax hardware. Printing comes from a PrecisionCore head with 400 x 2 nozzles for each colour. The Replaceable Ink Pack System uses black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink packs. A 12.7 cm colour touchscreen handles local operation, while the flatbed scanner works with a 50-page automatic document feeder.

Maximum print resolution reaches 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. Variable-sized droplet technology can place 3.7 pl droplets for finer ink control. ISO A4 print speed runs at 24 ipm in monochrome and colour. Automatic duplex output reaches 16 ipm on A4 paper and 11 ipm on A3 sheets. First-page output takes about 5 seconds in black and 7 seconds in colour.

The CIS scanner records 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical detail. Its maximum scan area is 297.18 x 431.8 mm, so larger originals can be captured from the flatbed. Standalone copying can produce up to 999 pages from one job. Copy scaling runs from 25 to 400 percent, with A3 as the maximum copy size. The automatic document feeder supports two-sided scan, copy, and fax work.

Paper input comes from two front trays, one rear tray, and one front manual feed. Together, they give 831 sheets of standard capacity before optional trays are added. Two optional cassettes can raise total input to 1,831 sheets, while printed pages collect in a 250-sheet output tray. Media choices cover A3+, A3, A4, A6, Legal, Letter, envelopes, and long sheets up to 329 x 1,200 mm.
