The WF-C5890DWF is an A4 colour office all-in-one with print, scan, copy, and fax functions. Printing uses a PrecisionCore printhead with 800 black nozzles and 800 nozzles for each colour. DURABrite Ultra pigment ink runs through a four-colour cartridge system. A 10.9 cm colour touchscreen manages local operation, while the CIS scanner works with a 50-page automatic document feeder above the flatbed for multi-page originals.
Maximum print resolution reaches 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, with 3.8 pl droplets from variable-sized droplet technology. ISO print speed runs at 25 pages per minute in both monochrome and colour. Duplex ISO output reaches 16 A4 pages per minute in both modes. Draft speed rises to 34 pages per minute, while scanning records 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical detail. Copying reaches up to 22 images per minute.
Paper handling combines a 250-sheet cassette with an 80-sheet multi-purpose tray, giving 330 sheets as standard capacity. With three optional 500-sheet trays fitted, maximum input rises to 1,830 sheets. The output tray holds 150 sheets, while automatic duplexing covers A4 plain paper.
