Epson L3356 Specifications
The printer under discussion is the Epson L3356, an all-in-one device with integrated printing, scanning, and copying capabilities. The printer uses a piezo printhead with 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles per cyan, magenta, and yellow channels. The refills are done using C13T00V198 black, C13T00V298 cyan, C13T00V398 magenta, and C13T00V498 yellow cartridges. This printer has a user-replaceable maintenance box.
The printing resolution is 5760 x 1440 dpi. According to ISO standards, the A4 print speed will be 11 ipm in black and 6 ipm in colour. A4 draft text prints will be 33 ppm in black and 15 ppm in colour. First page output time in ready mode is 10 seconds for black and 16 seconds for colour. It provides 4 x 6 inch photo printing without borders; 10 x 15 cm borderless photo printing in approximately 90 seconds.
The scanning process is performed using a flatbed colour image scanner and CIS sensor with 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution. The scanning surface size is 216 x 297 mm (fits A4 or Letter-size original document). Copying under ISO 29183 standard will be 7.7 ipm black and 3.8 ipm in colour. Standalone copying allows getting up to 20 copies; the maximum copy resolution size is 600 x 600 dpi.
The paper source is a paper tray with a capacity of 100 plain sheets or 20 Premium Glossy Photo Paper sheets. Paper sizes accepted by the printer are Legal, Indian-Legal, Letter, A4, 16K, B5, A5, B6, A6, Hagaki, photo sizes, and #10, DL, or C6 envelopes.
