Epson Expression Premium XP-7101 Specifications
The Epson Expression Premium XP-7101 is a compact all-in-one inkjet for printing, scanning, and copying. Its print system uses drop-on-demand MicroPiezo inkjet technology. Five cartridges supply cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and photo black ink. The scanner area combines a colour CIS flatbed with a 30-sheet automatic document feeder. That feeder handles two-sided originals, and the control panel uses a 4.3 inch touchscreen with gesture navigation.
Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 optimized dpi. Variable-sized droplets can be as small as 1.5 picolitres. ISO speed is 15.8 ipm in black and 11.0 ipm in colour. Automatic two-sided printing runs at 5.9 ipm black and 5.0 ipm colour. Scanning records 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical detail, with interpolation up to 1,200 x 4,800 dpi for enlarged files.
Paper input is split between a 100-sheet main tray and a 20-sheet dedicated photo tray. Printed pages collect in an output tray for up to 50 sheets of paper. A rear feed accepts specialty paper. Document sizes include Letter, Legal, A4, B5, B6, A5, A6, and 16:9 wide paper. Separate photo sizes are also listed. Number 10, DL, and C6 envelopes fit the feed path, and borderless printing works on common photo sizes and A4.
A wired setup can use USB or Ethernet. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. PC-free input can come from the built-in USB host or SD-family memory-card printing. Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and scan-to-cloud services are the named mobile and cloud functions. The disc-printing hardware handles inkjet printable CDs and DVDs, and PictBridge gives direct camera input. Copy settings include black or colour output, 25 to 400 percent scaling, and up to 99 PC-free copies.
