Epson Expression Home XP-3205 Specifications

Epson Expression Home XP-3205 is an A4 colour inkjet all-in-one for printing, scanning, and copying. Fax hardware is not listed, and there is no automatic document feeder. Printing comes from an Epson Micro Piezo printhead with 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles for each colour. The cartridge set combines pigment black ink with dye-based cyan, yellow, and magenta inks.

Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. With variable-sized droplet technology, the smallest ink droplet is 3 pl. ISO speed is rated at 10 pages per minute in monochrome and 5 pages per minute in colour. In draft mode, plain-paper output rises to 33 pages per minute in black and 15 pages per minute in colour. A 10 x 15 cm photo print takes about 42 seconds.

Scanning uses a CIS flatbed with 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical resolution. Copying also works from the flatbed glass, so each original has to be placed there by hand. Paper enters through one rear tray. The tray holds 100 standard sheets or 20 photo sheets. Standard paper sizes include A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Letter, and Legal. Photo media is listed at 10 x 15 cm and 16:9, and envelope sizes are C6, DL, and No. 10.

Automatic duplex printing works on A4 plain paper. Borderless printing is listed as well. A nearby computer can use the USB connection. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct, and mobile printing works with Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, Mopria Scan, Epson Smart Panel, Epson Creative Print, and Epson Connect.
