Epson ET-M1170 Specifications
The Epson ET-M1170 is an inkjet printer designed to be used in the home office environment and small office for text and document printing. It applies precision core printhead technology that produces prints with high-quality black color and text in receipts, forms, and other office records. The refillable ink tank uses Epson pigment black ink that is suitable for printing text and office records. Unlike traditional toner cartridges, the printer allows refilling of high-yield black ink during regular usage from large ink bottles. Due to its specialized purpose in printing, the driver is mostly responsible for the printing communication process.
The maximum print resolution goes up to 1200x2400dpi for precise black text and clear line graphics. The speed of printing is up to 20 ppm during ISO printing and up to 39ppm during draft printing for long text documents. Two-sided printing is also automatic and is helpful in saving paper when printing reports, forms, and other internal documents in offices. The front paper cassette is able to hold up to 250 sheets, and a rear feed allows the insertion of one special sheet for printing envelopes. For the daily routine, the 100-sheet output tray provides more productive finishing of the long jobs.
It has the possibility to connect via Hi-Speed USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct. Epson mobile services include iPrint, Email Print, and Remote Print Driver. These services print documents on the network via computers and mobile devices. The printer has dimensions of 375 x 347 x 151 mm and a weight of 4.3 kg. Compact desktop form factor makes it good for one to three users in a small space for monochrome documents. This printer cannot be used for scanning, copying, or faxing documents.
