Epson ET-4700 Specifications
The Epson ET-4700 is a home office printer that is easy to fit into any desk space. This printer applies Epson Micro Piezo inkjet technology, which means a refillable four-color tank system is used, and ink cartridges are not required for continuous printing. Black, cyan, magenta, and yellow bottles refill the tanks, and this system works well for family members, students, and workers in small offices who have to deal with documents like letters, forms, invoices, and color prints on a daily basis.
The resolution of print quality is up to 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi. ISO print speed is up to 10 ppm and 5 ppm for black and color documents, respectively. There is a rear paper feed, which has a capacity of up to 100 plain sheets, and it is convenient to use in case of printing reports, forms, and everyday letters. A 30-page automatic document feeder allows multi-page originals to be scanned, copied, and faxed without manual reloading. Two-sided manual printing is possible through the printer’s driver; however, there is no automatic duplex printing function.
For connections, this device supports USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Ethernet ports. It measures 375 x 347 x 237 mm, and its weight is around 5 kg. The small size of the printer allows for easy placement in any shared office room, study room, or home office. The display is a 1.44-inch color LCD, which helps in the process of configuring the printer and in cleaning and maintenance checks. As fax and ADF functions are available, the Epson software package must be installed for all its features to work.
