Epson ET-2840 Specifications

Epson ET-2840 works as an A4 EcoTank multifunction inkjet, combining printing, scanning, and copying in one compact unit. Its four-color ink system draws from refillable tanks instead of disposable cartridges, so the hardware layout suits repeated document printing. The tank design also pairs with keyed Epson ink bottles, which keeps refilling more controlled. For output, the printer handles text pages, color documents, labels, and light photo work.

For printing, the ET-2840 reaches up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, giving documents and color graphics useful detail. ISO print speeds in the original specification are 15 pages per minute for black and 8 pages per minute for color. On the paper side, a rear feed takes plain paper, photo media, envelopes, and smaller photo sizes. However, two-sided printing needs manual page turning rather than automatic duplex hardware.

Connection options in the supplied specification cover USB, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct, which suit both cable and wireless placement. The printer also works with Epson Smart Panel, AirPrint, Mopria, and cloud print services for phone or tablet printing. Its body measures 375 x 347 x 179 mm and weighs about 4.1 kg. Meanwhile, the feature set omits Ethernet, fax, an automatic document feeder, and automatic duplex printing.
