Epson EcoTank Pro ET-M16685 Specifications

Epson EcoTank Pro ET-M16685 is a monochrome A3+ EcoTank Pro multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, and copying. Printing comes from a PrecisionCore print head with 800 black nozzles. DURABrite ET pigment ink fills the refillable black tank. The office desktop body carries a 10.9 cm colour touchscreen for direct control. Scanning relies on a CIS sensor. No fax function is listed.

Maximum print resolution reaches 4,800 x 2,400 dpi, with droplets down to 3.8 pl. ISO mono speed runs at 25 pages per minute. The first page can appear in about 5.5 seconds. Automatic duplex printing reaches 21 A4 pages per minute. The scanner records 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical resolution. From the ADF, single-sided A4 scans run at 26 ipm in black and 9 ipm in colour.

Paper input comes from two 250-sheet front trays and a rear path for specialty media. Maximum input reaches 550 sheets. Printed pages collect in a 125-sheet output tray. A3+, A3, A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Letter, and Legal sheets are listed. Envelope sizes include C4, C6, DL, and No. 10. Duplex output works on A4 and A3 plain paper. The automatic document feeder holds 50 pages.

A computer connects through USB, while Ethernet handles wired networking. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. The USB host port allows direct printing from compatible external devices. Mobile printing works through Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, and Mopria Scan. PCL5e, PCL5c, and PCL6 emulations are available for network printing. Power use is 21 watts during standalone copying. Ready mode uses 9.7 watts, and sleep mode uses 0.7 watt.
