Epson EcoTank ET-M2120 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-M2120 is an A4 monochrome EcoTank multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, and copying. Fax hardware is not fitted. Printing comes from an Epson Micro Piezo printhead with 180 black nozzles. The refillable tank uses black pigment ink only, so there are no cyan, magenta, or yellow tanks. A 3.7 cm colour LCD sits on the control panel, and scanning relies on a CIS flatbed.

Maximum print resolution reaches 1,440 x 720 dpi. The smallest droplet is 3 picolitres. ISO print speed runs at 15 pages per minute in monochrome. On 75 g/m² plain paper, draft output reaches 32 pages per minute. First-page output takes about 8 seconds. The flatbed records 2,400 x 1,200 dpi optical resolution, with A4 scan timing of 12 seconds in black and 28 seconds in colour.

Paper feeds through one rear tray with 150-sheet standard capacity for plain paper. Printed pages collect in a 30-sheet output tray. The rear feed takes A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, and Legal sheets. Envelopes run through the same paper path in DL, C6, or Number 10 size. Plain-paper weight is listed from 64 to 90 g/m². Without an automatic document feeder, each scan or copy original must be placed on the flatbed glass.

A nearby computer can connect through Hi-Speed USB. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. Mobile printing works through Epson Connect, Epson iPrint, and Apple AirPrint. The monthly duty cycle is 15,000 pages. Power use is about 15 W during standalone copying, 4.3 W when ready, and 0.7 W in sleep mode. With the trays closed, the body measures 375 x 318 x 200 mm and weighs about 5 kg.
