Epson EcoTank ET-4905 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-4905 is a black A4 EcoTank multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Printing relies on an Epson Micro Piezo printhead. It carries 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles for each colour. The four-colour tank system uses dye black, cyan, yellow, and magenta inks from 65 ml bottles. Panel settings run through a 3.7 cm colour LCD. A CIS scanner sits below a 30-page automatic document feeder.

Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi, and the minimum droplet size is 3 pl. ISO speed runs at 11 pages per minute in monochrome and 6 pages per minute in colour. Draft output reaches 33 black or 15 colour pages per minute. First-page output takes 10 seconds for mono or 16 seconds for colour. Under ISO testing, a 10 x 15 cm photo takes 69 seconds.

Scanning works through a CIS flatbed with 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical resolution. The automatic document feeder scans A4 black or colour originals at 4.5 images per minute. Flatbed timing is 12 seconds for black and 29 seconds for colour. Faxing runs through colour and monochrome walk-up hardware at up to 33.6 kbps, with error correction. Memory reaches 100 pages, while the address book stores 100 names and numbers.

Paper input comes through one 100-sheet rear tray, and the output tray holds 30 sheets. The rear feed accepts A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Letter, Legal, DL, C6, Number 10 envelopes, and user-defined sizes. Duplex printing is manual, while borderless output reaches 10 x 15 cm. Connections cover USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi Direct, and Wi-Fi 4. Closed size is 375 x 317 x 224 mm, and weight is about 5.5 kg.
