Epson EcoTank ET-2951 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-2951 is an A4 EcoTank multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, and copying, without fax hardware or an automatic document feeder. Printing comes from a PrecisionCore printhead with 400 black nozzles. Each colour channel has 128 nozzles. The refillable tanks use pigment black ink, together with dye cyan, yellow, and magenta. A 3.7 cm colour LCD gives panel feedback, and the black body distinguishes this version visually.

Maximum print resolution reaches 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The smallest droplet size is 3.3 pl. ISO print speed runs at 15 pages per minute in monochrome and 8 pages per minute in colour. On 75 g/m² plain paper, draft speed rises to 33 pages per minute for black and 20 pages per minute for colour. The first page takes about 9 seconds in black or 15 seconds in colour.

Scanning relies on a CIS flatbed with 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical resolution. An A4 scan takes about 10 seconds in black or 24 seconds in colour. Copying uses the same flatbed hardware. Without an ADF, stacked originals need separate placement on the glass. A 100-sheet rear tray feeds the paper, and finished pages collect in a 30-sheet output tray.

The rear feed accepts A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, and Letter paper. It also takes 10 x 15 cm photo sheets, 13 x 18 cm photo sheets, and three envelope types. Paper weight runs from 64 to 300 g/m². Automatic duplex printing works on A4 plain paper, and borderless output is available where the selected paper size permits it.

A nearby computer can connect through USB. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi Direct. Direct mobile printing works through AirPrint, Mopria, Epson Smart Panel, and Epson Connect. With the trays closed, the unit measures 375 x 347 x 187 mm. Its listed weight is 5.2 kg.
