Epson EcoTank ET-2875 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-2875 is an A4 colour EcoTank multifunction printer with print, scan, and copy hardware. Fax is not built into this model. The Epson Micro Piezo printhead uses 180 nozzles for black ink. Each colour channel has 59 nozzles. Black, cyan, yellow, and magenta dye ink fill separate refillable tanks from 65 ml bottles. Scanning works from a flatbed contact image sensor, with no automatic document feeder above the glass.

Print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. ISO output is rated at 10 pages per minute for monochrome and 5 pages per minute for colour. Draft printing on 75 g/m² plain paper rises to 33 pages per minute in black and 15 pages per minute in colour. The first black page takes 10 seconds, and the first colour page takes 16 seconds. Borderless printing is limited to 10 x 15 cm.

The CIS flatbed scans at 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical resolution. An A4 black scan takes around 11 seconds. A colour A4 scan takes around 28 seconds. Scan files may be saved as BMP, JPEG, PICT, TIFF, multi-TIFF, PDF, or PNG. Copying uses the same glass, so each original must be placed on the flatbed separately.

Paper feeds from one rear tray. The input holds 100 plain sheets, and the output area holds 30 sheets. Two-sided printing is manual because automatic duplex hardware is not fitted. Paper sizes cover A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, C6, DL, and #10 envelopes. Paper weight ranges from 64 to 300 g/m². A nearby computer can use USB, while wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. With the body closed, the printer measures 375 x 347 x 179 mm and weighs 4.1 kg.
