Epson EcoTank ET-16655 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-16655 is an A3+ ink-tank all-in-one for printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Its PrecisionCore print head draws from four pigment-ink tanks: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. The nozzle layout is heavier than on some lower models, with 800 nozzles for black and 800 nozzles for each colour. Minimum droplet size is 3.8 pl. On the control panel, a 10.9 cm colour touchscreen sits beside separate hard keys for direct local operation.

Print resolution reaches up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. ISO printing is rated at 25 ppm in monochrome and 25 ppm in colour. On plain paper in draft mode, both black and colour output reach 32 ppm. The first page takes 5.5 seconds in either black or colour. Automatic duplex printing on A4 paper runs at 21 pages per minute in monochrome or colour, and the recommended duty cycle is 3,300 pages per month.

Scanning uses a CIS sensor with 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution. The automatic document feeder can read both sides of an original. From the ADF, single-sided A4 scanning reaches 26 ipm in black and 9 ipm in colour. Faxing works in black or colour from the machine itself. The fax modem runs at 33.6 kbps, with 200 speed dials and stored page memory for up to 550 pages.

Paper feeds from two front trays and a rear feed. Together they hold 550 sheets, while printed pages collect in a 125-sheet output tray. The paper path takes A3+, A3, A4, A5, A6, B6, DL envelopes, and Number 10 envelopes. A nearby computer can connect through USB, and wired networking uses Ethernet. Wireless printing works through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct, with a USB host port available separately. Listed body size is 515 x 500 x 350 mm, and the machine weighs 21 kg.
