Epson EcoTank ET-16605 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-16605 is an A3+ ink-tank all-in-one for printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Its PrecisionCore print head draws from four refillable pigment-ink tanks: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. The head uses 800 nozzles for black and 256 nozzles for each colour, with a minimum droplet size of 3.8 pl. On the control panel, a 10.9 cm colour touchscreen works with separate hard keys for local operation.

Print resolution reaches up to 4800 x 2400 dpi. ISO printing is rated at 25 ppm in monochrome and 12 ppm in colour. On plain paper in draft mode, speed rises to 32 ppm for black and 22 ppm for colour. The first page takes 5.5 seconds in black or 8.5 seconds in colour. Scanning uses a CIS sensor with 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution, and the ADF can read both sides of an original.

Paper feeds from two front trays and a rear feed. Together they hold 550 sheets, with 500 sheets divided between the front trays and 50 sheets loaded at the rear. Printed pages collect in a 125-sheet output tray. The paper path takes A3+, A3, A4, A5, A6, B6, DL envelopes, and Number 10 envelopes. Automatic duplex printing is limited to A4 and A3 plain paper.

A nearby computer can connect through USB, and wired networking uses Ethernet. The USB host port is separate from those computer and network connections. Wireless printing works through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. Mobile and cloud printing use Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, Mopria Scan, or Epson Smart Panel. The 50-page automatic document feeder accepts A3 originals for two-sided scanning, copying, and faxing. Listed body size is 515 x 500 x 350 mm, and the machine weighs 20.7 kg.
