Epson XP-960 Specifications
The Epson Expression Photo XP-960 is unique among small-in-one printers, especially for photography enthusiasts who care about superior photo print quality without sacrificing functional features. What makes the XP-960 special is its six-color HD ink system that includes light magenta and light cyan, which allows color-expansive artistry to be printed in clarity at levels commonly achieved only with professional photography. This printer’s maximum resolution is 5760 x 1440 dpi. It prints everything from ordinary papers to complicated borderless photos 11 x 17 inches, so who’s to say it’s not an at-home scrapbooking tool and an artistic implement for professional use, too?
It has a large 4.3-inch touchscreen that lets you find your way around the menu, so there is no need to learn it by rote. It features one tray for many types of paper and a compatible main paper tray. A tiny tray also accommodates photo paper to print directly from your film roll without removing a roll or switching cartridges at home. Additionally, users who frequently print on card stock, photographic paper, and heavier media can reap the full benefit from quickly switching between print media types. For craftspeople and photographers, the added convenience of CD/DVD printing capability adds further value. In this class of photo printers, the print speeds may not be the fastest on the market, but they are sufficient. The XP-960 manages to strike a balance between explanation and brevity. This trait is valued when producing high-quality photo prints.
The XP-960 has a fast upload speed. With USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Epson Connect support, it can print from any device, including smartphones and tablets! Some people’s work requires speed; you must choose quality over speed for print jobs. Apple AirPrint and even Google Cloud Print are all supported. This versatility lets users print from or store documents on other mobile devices so they never forget about them again. People with quality and quantity in mind value output that is good enough to almost jump off the page and into your hands. In sum, the Epson Expression Photo XP-960 provides a great mix of beautiful printing on any photo paper type and the functions of a business printer- all in a tiny machine that can go just about anywhere.
