The Epson WorkForce DS-520 document scanner is a capable entry into the business-centric scanner market aimed at small to mid-sized offices with moderate scanning needs. Offering a fast 30 pages per minute (ppm) scan speed and an impressive daily duty cycle of 3,000 pages, the DS-520 is designed to excel in a setting where creating digital copies of documents becomes a part of the daily routine.
So, how does the DS-520 perform? It offers a smooth scanning experience with a 50-sheet automatic document feeder that can make easy work of stacks of paperwork. Moreover, one-touch scanning to numerous destinations, including cloud services, along with highly accurate optical character recognition (OCR), yielding editable text that should be the staple feature of any device in routine use where digitizing documents is vital to managing data and enabling archiving.
