Epson SureColor F1070 Specifications
The Epson SureColor F1070 is a single-function production printer for direct-to-garment and DTFilm output. It does not scan, copy, or fax; the whole build is centred on platen-based garment printing. Printing comes from a PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology. Variable-sized droplets help place ink on fabric or film with better control. UltraChrome DG2 ink uses cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and white, fed from 250 ml cartridge-free ink packs.
Maximum print resolution reaches 2,400 x 1,200 dpi. In white mode, the head uses 400 nozzles x 2 for white and 400 nozzles x 4 for colour. Colour mode changes that layout to 400 nozzles x 4. The 4.3 inch colour touchscreen handles local operation from the front panel. Built-in memory is listed at 1 GB, with ESC/P raster used for print processing.
Media loading depends on platens rather than sheet trays or roll feed. The small platen takes material up to 1 inch thick, so bulky garments need to sit flat before printing starts. Grip-pad limits differ between the extra-small and small platen options. Fabric compatibility runs from 50 to 100 percent cotton or polyester. A sleeve platen is used for narrower items, and the platen moves through a gantry system during production.
A nearby computer can use the rear USB 3.0 port. The front USB 2.0 port reads non-encrypted USB memory devices. Network printing can run over Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi Direct. The body measures 35.4 x 27.5 x 16.8 inches, or 899 x 699 x 426 mm. With the supplied platen fitted, the printer weighs about 156.5 lb, and printing power use is about 40 W.
