Epson Stylus Photo R320 Specifications

Epson Stylus Photo R320 is remarkable in one thing only — a photo printer. Built and marketed as a product for photography enthusiasts and home users, it is a printer whose specialty is high-quality output. The R320 has a six-color ink system with two additional colors: light cyan and magenta. That guarantees smoother gradations and better skin tones in printed photos. Sure, the R320 isn’t very quick; in printing, the device goes relatively slow, but, as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. The printer is versatile – it can print on many media types and sizes, from high glossy photo paper and CDs/DVDs to ordinary bond paper.

The device has a built-in card reader and a color LCD screen. The R320 performs better as a computer-convenient device because editing on a rather large color screen should produce better results than on a 2″ LCD. The R320 is suitable for regular everyday tasks and bursts of creativity, and its unique photo-printing focus reveals its best features.

Compared with newer models, it has excellent photo quality; however, due to the commonly increasing integration level of modern technology into printing devices, the R320 needs to be updated. Upgrading to a new printer seems reasonable for people who define their printing needs and are looking for a device with a better value for the money. The printer is ‘cheap’ mostly in terms of ink usage; photo printing always requires a large amount of expensive color ink.
