Epson L3280 Specifications

The Epson L3280 is an A4 EcoTank multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, and copying. Fax hardware is not shown for this model. Printing comes from an Epson Micro Piezo head. The head carries 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles for each colour. Four refillable tanks hold black, cyan, yellow, and magenta dye ink. For scanning, documents sit on a flatbed CIS sensor.

Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. Variable-sized droplet technology sets the smallest droplet at 3 pl. ISO output runs at 10 ppm in monochrome and 5 ppm in colour. On plain paper, draft speed rises to 33 ppm black and 15 ppm colour. A 10 x 15 cm photo takes about 27 seconds on Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper. The scanner records 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical detail.

Paper loads through one rear feed, with room for 100 plain sheets. Finished pages collect in a 30-sheet output tray. Standard sheets may be A4, A5, A6, B5, Letter, Legal, or user-defined sizes. Envelopes use DL, C6, or Number 10 stock. Photo paper may be 10 x 15 cm, 13 x 18 cm, or 16:9 format. For duplex printing, the paper must be turned by hand. Borderless output reaches up to 10 x 15 cm.

A nearby computer connects through USB. Wireless printing runs through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct, while Ethernet is not listed in the product specifications. Mobile operation works through Epson Smart Panel and Epson Connect, including iPrint, Email Print, and Remote Print Driver. During standalone copying, power use is about 12 W. Ready mode uses 4.5 W. Closed size is 375 x 347 x 179 mm, with about 3.9 kg weight.
