Epson L3270 Specifications
The Epson L3270 is an EcoTank A4 multifunction inkjet for printing, scanning, and copying. Fax hardware is not part of the listed setup. Printing runs through an Epson Micro Piezo head with 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles for each colour. Four refillable tanks take Epson 103 dye ink in black, cyan, yellow, and magenta. Originals are placed on a CIS flatbed scanner, and local operation uses physical buttons.
Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. Variable-sized droplet technology sets the smallest droplet at 3 pl. ISO print speed is 10 ppm in monochrome and 5 ppm in colour. In draft mode, output reaches 33 monochrome pages per minute and 15 colour pages per minute. A 10 x 15 cm photo takes about 27 seconds on Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper.
The flatbed scanner records 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical detail. At 200 dpi, an A4 flatbed scan takes about 11 seconds in black or 28 seconds in colour. Paper enters through a single rear tray with a 100-sheet capacity. Printed pages collect in a 30-sheet output tray. Automatic duplexing is unavailable, so two-sided output needs manual sheet turning. Borderless printing reaches up to 10 x 15 cm, and supported paper weight runs from 64 to 300 g/m².
Standard paper sizes include A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Letter, Legal, 13 x 18 cm, 10 x 15 cm, and 16:9 wide paper. The rear feed also accepts C6, DL, and number 10 envelopes. A nearby computer can connect through USB. Wireless printing works through Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. Mobile printing is listed through Epson iPrint, Epson Email Print, and Remote Print Driver. With the body closed, the unit measures 375 x 347 x 179 mm and weighs 3.9 kg. Standalone copying draws about 12 W.
