Epson ET-5800 Specifications
The Epson EcoTank ET-5800 stands out in printing for its cost-effective and eco-friendly design. While other printers require regular cartridge changes, the ET-5800 has large, refillable ink tanks that negate this issue. Epson EcoTank ET-5800 is a strong choice for independent students and professionals after a cheaper and environmentally friendly printer. The cost upfront can be high based on a per-use comparison, but if you print a lot, the savings on ink can quickly make it a sensible choice.
It performs reliably in most other areas, providing high-quality prints for all document purposes. The prints, whether essays, reports, or colorful charts, are sharp and vibrant. On top of this, the quality does not come at a cost in terms of speed – the prints average at a swift pace. I’m also a fan of the scanning feature – printers that allow document scanning are major boons in my book. That said, if you print on a large scale and only have particularly high-resolution images in mind, there are better models for that specific purpose.
Dependable all-in-one printers typically give up in one of two areas – setup clunkiness or functionality difficulty. The ET-5800 falls in neither category – connecting it to devices is extremely simple, and the Ethernet and Wi-Fi capabilities are seamless. On top of that, Epson’s interface is equally painless, meaning you won’t have much trouble figuring your way around its many functions and settings.
