Epson EcoTank L8100 Specifications
Epson EcoTank L8100 is an A4 six-colour EcoTank multifunction photo printer for printing, scanning, and copying. Printing works through a Micro Piezo printhead with 180 black nozzles and 180 nozzles for each colour channel. The ink system uses black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, and light magenta dye bottles. A 6 cm colour LCD handles direct operation, while a CIS flatbed sits under the scanner lid.
Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi, with variable-sized droplets down to 1.5 pl. ISO speed is 8 ipm in black and 8 ipm in colour. Draft A4 text reaches 22 ppm for both modes. First-page output takes about 14 seconds. On Epson photo paper media, a 10 x 15 cm photo prints in about 25 seconds with borders or without borders.
Scanning records 1,200 x 4,800 dpi optical resolution across a maximum 216 x 297 mm area, while the flatbed scans mono pages in about 6 seconds and colour pages in about 11 seconds at 200 dpi. Copying has draft, standard, and high quality modes, with resizing from 25 to 400 percent and Auto Fit available. Standalone copying can produce up to 99 copies at 600 x 600 dpi.
Paper handling covers A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, Letter, Legal, 8.5 x 13 inch sheets, envelopes, and photo sizes. The rear feed holds 100 sheets of A4 plain paper, while supported paper weights run from 64 to 90 g/m² for plain sheets. CD/DVD and PVC ID card printing are built in. USB, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct handle normal connections. A USB host port works with memory devices.
