Epson EcoTank ET-2862 Specifications

Epson EcoTank ET-2862 is an A4 colour EcoTank multifunction printer for printing, scanning, and copying. Fax hardware is not part of this model. The Epson Micro Piezo printhead has 180 nozzles for black ink and 59 nozzles for each colour. Ink comes from 65 ml dye bottles for black, cyan, yellow, and magenta. Originals are scanned on the flatbed through a contact image sensor, with no automatic document feeder above the glass.

Print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. ISO print speed is 10 ppm for monochrome pages and 5 ppm for colour pages. On 75 g/m² plain paper, draft printing rises to 33 ppm in black and 15 ppm in colour. A 10 x 15 cm print on Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper takes 27 seconds. The first page comes out in 10 seconds for black or 16 seconds for colour.

Paper enters from a single rear tray. Plain-paper input is 100 sheets, and the output area holds 30 sheets. Two-sided printing is manual because automatic duplexing is not fitted. Envelopes and photo paper use the same rear feed. Paper sizes include A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, C6, DL, and #10 envelopes. Photo sizes run from 9 x 13 cm to 13 x 20 cm, with borderless printing limited to 10 x 15 cm.

A computer beside the printer can use USB. For wireless use, the printer works over Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct. Security settings include WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, and WPA3-SAE. Epson Smart Panel, Epson Connect Email Print, and Remote Print Driver handle app-based or cloud printing. Ethernet is not listed for this model. With the body closed, the printer measures 375 x 347 x 179 mm and weighs 3.9 kg. Operating power is 12 watts, and TEC is 0.15 kWh per week.
