Epson EcoTank ET-2861 Specifications
Epson EcoTank ET-2861 is an A4 colour ink-tank multifunction printer for printing, scanning, and copying, without fax hardware. Printing comes from an Epson Micro Piezo printhead with 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles for each colour. The refillable system uses four dye inks: black, cyan, yellow, and magenta. Epson lists 65 ml bottle capacity for each colour. Control stays with a button panel rather than a touchscreen.
Maximum print resolution reaches 5,760 x 1,440 dpi. With variable-sized droplet technology, the smallest droplet size is 3 pl. ISO speed is 10 ppm in monochrome and 5 ppm in colour, while a 10 x 15 cm photo takes 69 seconds. Draft output reaches 33 pages per minute in black and 15 pages per minute in colour. First-page timing is 10 seconds for black and 16 seconds for colour.
Scanning relies on a CIS flatbed with 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical resolution. From the flatbed, an A4 black scan takes about 11 seconds, while an A4 colour scan takes about 28 seconds. Copying uses the same glass, because no automatic document feeder is fitted. Paper input comes through one rear tray, with 100 sheets for standard capacity and 30 sheets for output.
The rear feed accepts A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, C6, DL, number 10 envelopes, and photo media such as 9 x 13 cm, 10 x 15 cm, and 13 x 20 cm. Duplex printing is manual, so two-sided sheets need turning by hand. Paper weight runs from 64 to 300 g/m². Connections include USB, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct. Mobile printing works through Epson Smart Panel, Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria.
