The Epson EcoTank ET-2840 is an inkjet printer with PrecisionCore Technology and four CMYK drop-on-demand cartridges. This model produces sharp and clear documents at a maximum print resolution of 4800 by 1200 dpi. It prints at 15 pages per minute for black and 8 pages per minute in color. The first page prints after only nine seconds for black prints and after fifteen seconds for color. The printer prints borderless four-by-six-inch photos within ninety seconds.

This multifunction printer has copying and scanning functions, which make it appropriate for performing daily tasks at home or in the office. Copies are produced at a speed of 10.8 pages per minute for black and 5.5 pages per minute for color. It allows you to copy up to ninety-nine times and adjust the reduction and enlargement of the images from 25% to 400%. Flatbed CIS scanner works at a hardware resolution of 1200 by 2400 dpi. This printer saves scanned files in PDF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, Multi-TIFF, and BMP formats.

The Epson EcoTank ET-2840 is capable of wireless printing via Wi-Fi 4 and Hi-Speed USB and Wi-Fi Direct connections.
