Epson GT-30000 Specifications
A rugged, capable scanner is necessary in a vibrant office. The Epson GT-30000 has a larger scanning area than most scanners, at 11.7″x17″. Now, that is a large format. It will make short work of paper that stretches to several sheets. The scanner is high-speed. It has an automatic document feeder. It can hold up to 100 sheets. Although the resolution is sharp indeed at 600 dpi, it moves along at a rapid clip. It shows money doesn’t have to be spent on speed alone.
Besides all these features, it’s user-friendly. ADFs are invaluable when scanning many pages at once, and as the scanner can read both sides of a sheet in just one stroke, you could burn (!) through stacks of paper at a very high pace. Modern scanner operators may need time to adjust their usage–it’s more complex. But once you get up to speed with this feature, its reliability shines.
For larger offices or institutions like libraries that require heavy-duty equipment, the Epson GT-30000 is nothing to sniff at. Small firms or single individuals need more space and money. However, if your job is mainly scanning documents of many different sizes and you need something you can count on–then this Epson model could be worth what you pay. For some, its easygoing way of handling large jobs efficiently is the thing that tips things over in its favor.
